Christopher T. Harman, Principal & Founder
Christopher T. Harman is a principal and founder of HCP based in the Austin, Texas corporate office.
Mr. Harman has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience and holds a CCIM designation, an MAI designation, and is a licensed broker in the State of Texas. Mr. Harman is a founding board member of the CoreNet Houston Foundation, and is a former board member of the CoreNet Houston chapter.
Mr. Harman graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Finance. He began his career with Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas specializing in industrial leasing. He then joined Lewis & Howard in Houston, Texas where he held a senior consulting position focused on valuation and underwriting projects for many of the country’s largest financial institutions. Mr. Harman joined Enron Property Company in 1995 where he was promoted to Vice President in charge of global real estate for Enron Corp. After leaving Enron to pursue an entrepreneurial energy finance venture, he rejoined Enron to run the real estate desk of Enron Broadband Services. Mr. Harman formed HCP after the collapse of Enron, serving the real estate transaction and consulting needs of numerous corporate and institutional clients.
Annette G. Vogel, Vice President
Annette Vogel is a Vice President of HCP based in Houston, Texas.
Ms. Vogel has over 19 years of commercial real estate experience and is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas. Ms. Vogel is a member of CREW Houston.
Ms. Vogel graduated from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Journalism. She earned her law degree from the University of Houston in 1990. She began her career at Pennzoil Company in Houston, Texas as a contract attorney specializing in litigation workout, including renegotiating office and ground leases, mortgage restructuring and commercial real estate lease workouts. Ms. Vogel then joined EOTT Energy Corp. in 1994 where she created a real estate department to manage the corporate real estate portfolio. Ms. Vogel led due diligence teams for acquisition activity. In April 2004, Plains All American Pipeline acquired EOTT and Ms. Vogel was an integral member of the merger and acquisition team. Ms. Vogel also has high level right of way experience with several other major energy companies. Ms. Vogel joined HCP in 2005 and focuses on corporate advisory services and due diligence & underwriting transactions.
